She(esha) is the BOSS! Well, most of the time.

Located in the tinsel town of Namma Ooru- Koramangala, this place is definitely worth a visit. Most of you might think I am going to write good things about this place because it’s a friend’s brainchild. The truth is, what makes this place unique is the amount of hard work and heart that has gone into conceptualizing it. And what’s even more amazing is that the love and warmth reflects on the food and the service standards.

The Arabesque Café (pronounced: Ara-besk) is practically your time out from the not so anticipated busy work day you have had. It’s a getaway for anyone looking for comfort food with a comfort ambience.

Talking of the ambience, it is quite minimalistic and ornate with lovely sheeshas in all corners. Not to miss is the Sheesha Collection they have the moment you enter the place- ranging from Exotic Sheeshas by Segar Sons (Egypt) to hand painted and gold plated Sheeshas, they have it all. You’ll really like their Social wall near the entrance where there is a photo opportunity, photographers and instagramers, check this out for sure!

The food is drool worthy and the menu quite expansive- ranging from American, Italian to Pan Asian cuisine. Try the signature Onion Rings which merry well with the Hookah options. A special mention goes out to the Watermelon base they serve in which the Sheesha is carved from and placed inside a Watermelon (not kidding, see it to believe it!)

Thyme Infused chicken chops, juicy lucy steak, vegetarian steak and the exotic sizzlers are among their other must eats on the menu. You can’t ignore the fact that the head chef of the restaurant, Chef Malay is a Bengali and there is always something special about Bengalis who cook because they love to eat as much as they love sharing the joy of eating. (Not stating this because I am a Bengali. :p)

They more than make up for not serving alcohol with a delectable beverage menu in place. The Arabesque Special Shake (Fererro Rocher, Kit Kat, Oreo, Peanut Butter, et all). And oh, they serve Sugar Free Cold Coffee and Zero Calorie Iced Tea too.

The Arabesque Café is every Hookah lover’s paradise. They are also the first café in India to have Limited Edition Al-Fakher flavours and Al Nakhla flavours (100 year old Egyptian company)- no one can ever get enough of these. What also cant be ignored is also the Sheesha they serve in, they are quite fancy.

Rafiq and Colin (the owners) personally meet every guest who visit the restaurant and take their feedback. They sometimes go out of the way to make personalized meals for people with a preference. What’s awesome is also the fact that these guys are open till 1:00 AM- and given the food, you can easily go there for the perfect midnight hunger cramp solution.
